Just be careful, i think one member on here was selling an alloy tank, that lost a bit in fit and finish, between the online pic and actual product....not like you can easily send it back...
And check the underneath pics to see how many pieces used and how good the welds look..some are savage.. The better the guy is at forming, the less pieces used..

Renthal bars and ends came in a while back, need to drill them and feed the wiring through, but will hold off on that until I'm close to assembly (controls got done a year ago alongside the K2's). Finished rebuilding the seat plunger with plated and coated parts (these were done a while back, just got around to it recently).

With those bars, I've got a set of NOS Euro cables to use but skipped on the Euro brake lines as I wanted to try the SS ones. Awful timing since slingshot is closed again due to tech difficulties. I tried reaching out to Shuan directly to get a set made but never heard back. Ryan/Ravi mentioned a Raymond Chan as good source for SS brake lines so I searched around and found this

Called him on his toll free line, nice guy but very particular about hose lengths, and only makes them after you specify exact sizes. Big help from Davez (runs the same bars) on the measurements, I got the order in late on Wed, lines arrived on Monday morning, pretty cool for $65 shipped. Lines look well built, I wanted all black everything including the banjos and that was not an issue, hopefully these will work out.

Those bars have some bungs inside that may prevent you from running wires inside, Rafi. The walls are also much thicker than steel.

@Don, thanks, the wife is big on knitting and crochet. We don't have couches because of my lower back issues, just desk chairs which get pretty cold in the winter, so she made one for each of them.

The cam chain tensioner rollers rebuilt with the proper tool, wayyy better than what it would have looked like had I hamfisted it ;D

Ready to install Wisecos! HD nuts for use with Kibblewhite HD studs, and four Chrome nuts for use on the studs exposed to atmosphere 8) 8) 8)

I haven't posted pix from when box 1 was here with the cyls and all kindsa other goodies, will get caught up soon.

I use std DIN6331 collar nuts, 10.9 grade for head if I remember correctly. Kibblewhite studs. Thinner washers since the nuts collars are thick.

Sure, if I do power washes and not dry after, or ride in heavy rain or things like that. Chrome will hold out better than the stock zinc or what I imagine is black oxide on the HD nuts. Original plan was to stick with stock ones, I didn't even know there were chrome ones available from Honda. This came straight from JMR. SS will be better, but I haven't worked out the specs, maybe next build...

Wow!

I know the feeling! The K2 head got a pretty aggressive port job too, and I've been riding a lot lately because of the great weather we've been having here. The K2 goes pyscho starting at 3000RPMs, like REALLY pulls, which is just too much fun around town and on longer stretches.

I'm boxing up everything for cryo right now, trying to mimic the extensive packaging as they returned from Mike. If all goes well, I should have it all back within 10 days and I can start assembly. In the meanwhile, I'm finishing up the front forks, swingarm (new shock bushings) and several other little things that will eat up a lot of time. Gotta sort out a couple electrics too, using a K1 tail light and pre K2 turn signals etc. etc. busy busy busy....
