One problem I see with the 'new' carbs already is the slide to the far left upper in the picture. The rod is sprung from the mounting plate as seen with its large lean angle. The bracket would need to be bent back to spec or replaced. Usually happens from people forcing seized slides open  ;)
  By the looks of the linkage they look like they were weathered pretty badly. Get good pics of the inside of the carbs to look for corrosion damage/pitting etc. before pulling the trigger if you buy.

A set of left twist drill bits. Find the right size and finger drill it out with finess.

Can anyone confirm if I can use the 657B carbs and the parts are interchangeable?

The bottom row is all 7A.  They are all soda blasted and ready to go.
