Front blinker question cb550 (76)

When I power up the left blinker front comes on solid - the left does not. Both turn signals work. Should neither or both come on?

The front turn signals (stock) were also running lights. Dual filament bulbs. They get brighter during turn signal selection.
Checked the bulbs? Check the connections?

Ok, I found this in the op manual. Last place I usually look. Since the right blinker works I need to do as you suggested. Thanks for the reply
