All, I want to add a luggage rack and rear fender and I had to cut my rear fender mount to add the seat. 1978 CB750k2 I want the luggage rack to be rectangular and cover the rear tires.  Any ideas?

Lots of CB750 racks on eBay that could probably be made to fit, though none specifically for a 1978 K2 ;)

Rear fender might require a bit of ingenuity and some home-made brackets. There's a lot to be said for keeping things stock (not that I ever do!).

Look at the 72-78 BMW R series mounts and bags. They're round bar stock, pre-bent, and have a clip onto style hangar. You could easily mod one of them to fit your frame rails and with their slim profile, the bike won't look so awkward without the bags attached.

Newer styles use an ABS plastic and they're much bulkier....

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S.
