Thank you...much appreciated. This thing has been chewed up doing dirt drags in the past .Belts wont track, bearings wander, all fixable.
May have to weld up main pulley shaft and machine it down ,all fun as hell in the end .
If anybody would like me to post the rebuild let me know,i have loads of pics.

We see very little of supercharger stuff here. More turbo stuff. Please do a write-up.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Ok then well .......here is the whole kit i have .I traded it for my gt 750 front 4leading drum hub and cables .
This supercharger is good in theory but lacks a bit in execution. It is what it is (old)and if it flows more into my engine even just a bit ill be happy
For starters the edges don't line up Ill file them to match after i fix the numerous problems .....

So from what i hear the drouin would chew up bearings (was this because the proper ones weren't being used?)and it would sieze and from what i was told stall the motor right then and there.
you can see in the pictures where the pulleys hit and walked into the compressor housing.
the main shaft has been bent and chewed up (no i did not put the epoxy on the shaft)

So the first thing i did it try to get the flat belt to track correctly.......Holy crap i just about went into my boxes and fetched out a turbo instead.
So tracking on 2 pulleys is hard enough with worn shafts and pully surfaces, not to mention questioable bearings.

First off was to flip spacers around to make sure the pulleys were centered .......Great, did it track ,yes alittle better.
(a little tid bit on flat belts one pulley only should be crowned not two)both of mine were crowned.
But to make things worse lets add a third pulley ,the tensioner.especially one with a worn to poop seating surface (on the shaft and in the housing)once tensioned the belts on this thing couldn't be tamed with out 45 min of adjusting the smallest of small movements.
Then it would track for about 30 seconds and the belt would slowly start to move in the direction of the housing and try to eat itself.
The only thing to do now is put things on a dial gauge and and then true everything up :)

So the large flat belt pulley was 7 thou out of round.......fixed
and the shaft it bolts to was out as you can see int the pics ,will most likely build a new one as this one has been through alot.

Take the bolt to a special machinist !   ;)   Don't cheap out when it comes to a very important part. Remember that supercharger is right next to your left leg and nuts.  When superchargers and turbos blow up it's like a fragmental grenade going off.   :o
Remember; Before you can be old and wise, you must first be young and stupid !

I have just completely rebuilt a Drouin. Have all the bearing numbers if you need them. Everything in blower is running true. The high speed bearings are expensive. I spent just shy of 700 for bearings alone. I have everything polished looks good and mechanical is done right. I have everything for a bolt on. Could be done in a few hours. Could use the mechanical FI it came with or use carb. If I were  to run it I would use a carb.  The blower is on ebay. Selling because a RC big engine just came  my way. This blower was used very little before I rebuilt it. I have all receipts additional belts and install instructions. I am confident that this blower will run as it should and add 50% more power to your stock Honda 750. Spoke to some guys early on in the project who ran these in the day. I have been told that these were able to leave the Z1 in the dust. These are just flat out cool. Hearing the wind of a blower at a bike show is beyond cool

Mine was good enough to outrun 78 Z1R stock. They were first production bike to break into the 11's..Cycle Magazine 11.95. Beat him stock, next week he had one tooth less and a RC pipe..he won!
Drouin flat belt to run straight and proper fuel delivery were my biggest challenges. G' luck Bill ;D
8-12 lbs boost will help! Also eats up ring life. Mine was 135 across the board when I took it off, 175ish before! But oh what fun, nice sound too.
