Thanks guys!!
I'm going through my bin of really rough carb parts/racks. Refurbishing what can be salvaged, then setting them free...
I've rescued most everything, even a carb rack that sat in a parts cleaner tank for months!
Tools that helped: Blasting cabinet: Baking Soda, Glass beads, tiny bristle brushes, steel wool, brass brushes, chem dip (yuk!)..
Only 2 things I couldn't rescue, 2 carb bodies.
carb 1-Post for float pin is broken, I have the broken part. (i have hope for repair)
carb 2- The post where the main jet sits, has been eaten away by corrosion! The rest of the body is perfect! Any ideas for this kind of repair???
