Carb Rebuild help, extra parts....
« on: December 17, 2006, 03:07:05 PM »
I bought a set of Keyster carb kits from PartsnMore, and I just finished putting to carbs together.  However, have some extra parts.  I don't remember seeing this o-ring or this washer when I disassembled the carbs, and they're not floating around in my parts bag.  I also know that these kits fit a variety of years, so they may not be needed for my bike (CB750K4).  Any ideas?  I don't want to run into issues later on down the road, with leaks from odd places.  Thanks!

And since we're having issues uploading pictures, its the o-ring and washer above the needle clip in this link:

The O-ring is either for the air screw or the bowl drain screw, that you probably haven't removed and therefore you haven't noticed the o-ring

If its the o-rign and washer from the airscrew, they tend to hang up inside the bore. Take a peek inside with a flashlight and you can see them. They come outeasily with a dental pick or very fine screwdriver.

The oring is  a replacement and goes around the shaft over the slides,  The washer is for the screws you remove to sync your carbs..
