Sandcast CB750 gurus

Hi Guys,
I'm sitting on some sandcast CB750 parts, and was toying with the idea of using them in a CR750 build. Some say its a waste and that I should rather sell or keep, but not use on the CR. I am finally tending to agree on this. So, could the guys who are in the know please help me spot which parts below are sandcast bits. (As I said in the other post I was born 10 years after Dick Mann won the Daytona 200 - so my knowledge is not first hand, but googled  :-[ ).
KOS, Sam, H2Eric, TurboGuzzi - can I pick your brains on this one?
Can you see which is sandcast and what sort of values attached to these items?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Head and cylinder not early, have front bolt hole. Cases are by serial # up to 4000+. Around 45-4700 were sandcast. kmb69 on here knows his sandcast well! G'luck, Bill

Looks like just the cases.. And they look hand stamped..which may indicate replacement sandcast cases.

Bill is correct - maybe the cases. All other parts pictured are later versions. Frank may have noticed the case numbers are suspiciously low on the pad and are a bit more "uneven" than normal but they appear to be the genuine Honda font. Need a picture of the right side, clutch side, of the cases to know for sure if they are SC cases. The clutch cover pictured is not a SC cover.

Pity... I was hoping more than just the cases, but it does mean parts can be used for CR750 build then. The serial is 1003858?

Definitely sandcast.  There is no bolt hole in the bottom front corner..9 holes total instead of 10.

Thanks Greggo - I see you have a link to a sandcast resto, going to check it out now. Any idea on the value of such cases? Should I sell or keep for future sale?

+1 with the others.............cases only ...............but quite valuable.  Take a look at completed listings on ebay.

For interested buyers..................I have a a running early motor (#1016xxx) with the correct barrels and head to match those cases..............would be willing to sell the barrels and head.  I have plans to keep the balance and build a street legal CR750 replica.

Are the cases. OK in chain are..any other damage?
 It will matter in the value..

Make it easier on yourself, sell the cases with KO cases (or more) as part payment.. Later KO stuff is not as pricey nor as hard to find.....and it can still have the right looking motor in it.
 But your head is 73 or later..

Complete engines, $3,500-4,500 depending on condition.  Not always, but if they are in the range somebody needs to match a frame they may be worth more to them.

Ok great, thank you! I've put an ad on Vintage bike Ads - and will only sell to someone with a frame within range, not for value, but to make someone's build that much more accurate.

Cases seem to be in great condition - and no chain damage. I can take some more pictures for interest's sake

 The rocker cover is late too, I bought a 10033XX sandcast rocker cover. I can't tell it from my 104xxxx cover. The one on my sandy #5511 is chrome but reportedly original, looks like I'm stripping it.
 The cast peg on the inside of the tach drive is in the wrong place and the front center is flat on the front not rounded like a Sandcast. There may be x's cast into the inside of a sandcast rocker cover too.
