yes....the correct fuel level in the bowl is the goal.  stock suggested height setting is just that.
its that tiny spring inside the float valve and or the height of the float valves pin.
Old vs new.  OEM vs aftermarket.

Thank you so much i will do that today, i will let you know how it turns out.
but here is the next Q, the little spring on top of the pump arm that pulls the arm onto the pump rod, not sure whats going on there but the arm does not come all the way to the stopper and in turn does not push all the way down on the pump rod, so its not squirting the right amount of fuel to accelerate.
spring looks good, no stretching of any kind with it.
any ideas?

For your top picture...there are specs for checking/setting those gaps in the manual, or a suppliment.
let me see if i can find it.
maybe someone else knows it or can put their hands on it sooner....

the gap at the top of the accel pump rod looks ok.

9.5-10.5 mm for the top and 0-0.2 for the pump rod, i had to go to 0 on the pump rod but the top one i did 10 mm.
the pict is showing the 10 mm but when i open the throttle all the way its about 3.5 mm away from the stopper, but i can push it the rest of the way with my finger very easy.

nice.
it takes a bit of priming, but the accel pump should shoot a good squirt into the carbs, if it doesnt, verify all the check valves(pump bowl, and on the rim of carb bowl #2) shoot clean with carb cleaner, and that tiny oring at the top of bowl 2 to seal the accel pump circuit, if its too thick, when compressed will block a good flow into the circuit.
you can test flow by installing carb bowl 2 (without the accel pump bowl) and shoot carb cleaner into the circuit from the inlet 'mickey mouse' hole at the accel pump bowl mating surface on the bottom of the carb bowl.  all accel pump squirters should squirt well with this test....

i do get squirting from the pump from all 4 now that i adjusted the pump rod-to-pump arm to 0.00 mm, but the last 3 mm or so is not happening unless I do it by hand. Wondering if that action of pushing on the pump rod is suppose to be fast and all the way to the stopper or is the spring suppose pull slow on the pump and once its running, vibrating, and going down the road The last 3 mm will happen then, or should it be all at once?

My spring that attaches to the accel pump cam was pretty week. I took a bit off it. Seemed to work well to get a healthy spray. I haven't had mine in the road so who knows if it is enough fuel.
