Clutch Switch?
« on: November 09, 2014, 10:59:48 AM »
Question, what is the "clutch switch" for on my K6 and can I remove it from the bike?  I need to replace my clutch lever switches and saw the tiny switch in the clutch lever and can't quite figure out from the wiring diagram what it's purpose is and if I can replace the factory clutch lever with an aftermarket one that doesn't have the switch built into it.

Hi
That switch is for stopping you starting her in gear. You have to pull the clutch lever in and then the starter motor engages.Yes you can bypass it by joining the wires in the headlight shell its wired to a resistor under your fuse box

You will have to ground the green/red off of the start solenoid to have the solenoid function.
