going fast is fun, but if that was why i rode, i wouldnt have a 38+year old 350cc MC.    :P
cruising thru a neighborhood, and having kids on BMX bikes want to race, or give you the thumbs up.  thats the sht right there.
i get satisfaction riding something, that i fix and maintain (with no need for high-tech diagn equipment), is rarely seen, that could have been in a junk heap long ago but looks like its been in a time capsule, get attention from young and old.
i like being alone with only the sound and sensation of sitting on a finely tuned machine humming along @7000rpm.  a different smell in the air every minute.
i love that smell, you know, the one in your garage after a long ride. that hot engine smell mixed with pinch of head gasket oil leak and carb overflow tube gas dribble...
i love that it gives me and my boys something fun to do other than videogames and sports.

I ride it because I just like it.

It just feels right.

And it's a lot of fun.

Had a 97 GSXR600. Just didn't feel right. Nice bike, I liked it, but it just wasn't the same. Got rid of it and kept the Honda.
