I agree about the MAC. I have one myself and I don't really care for the sound, look or fit. But it was cheap.  LOL Again, really nice build.

Wow man I'm speechless. I just picked a a green 73 with 15k on the clock last month. Over all it's in good shape for it's age. I've been cleaning it up here and there. Would it be rude to ask the costs involved in accomplishing a build like this? PM me if you like.

Well I drove my project for the first time.  I think its safe to say this bike hasn't run in at least 10 years.  A few things need to be addressed like the brakes, the horn, the positions of the controls, and the oil return line developed a leak and got oil everywhere.    >:( Im still waiting for my restored speedometer and tach to be returned to me, (Bobs in Howell Michigan......)    :D  It did sound wonderful and had plenty of power.  The Pirelli Demons were nice and got scuffed a bit and we are closer to breaking in the pistons and rings.  My ride was short (oil) but the problems are minor and we should be finished, after this stupid "hurricane."

Good job!  Bike looks great!  Where did you get the tank decals, the ones that go around the black area?  Thanks!

I wish I could take all the credit.  I had some very talented people working with me to see this project through.  I recently put a CX-1 cam in it and I'm working on the carbs.  Its a blast to ride.

I'm restoring the exact same bike, even the same color.  Was planning on getting the Mac 4 in 1 also.  Did you consider any other exhaust?

I actually have an original set  that are in storage.  I  also have a cool set of Hooker 4  into 2.  I  put the Mac  on  because it was cheap. I figured in a few years when it was discolored and old. Ill  buy a new one and  replace it.

I have the MAC 4 into 2's on my exact same year and color bike. I've been pretty happy with them.
