Hows about a peak down the intake port of a 4 valve per cylinder dohc v4. :D  ...just don't drop anything!

This carb rack weighs nearly half as much as a cb750 rack, amazing mechanism that is surprisingly easy to work on but I am quite sure if I seperated these carbs it would end in tears

here's mine...someone's been in here before and decided they could make their own gasket >:(  Hope that doesn't bite me.  I had to order the proper gasket.

More pics to come, I left my camera at the shop.  Hopefully I can get a decent ride on this thing before winter really sets in here.

Frick!   >:(     Can't believe anyone would think globbing on half a tube of silicone is a "gasket".  Looks like the excess is still clinging to the inside edge thankfully!

I dont like rain.  Luckily we're in a severe drought so it rarely rains here.

Don't know how I missed this thread sean but if you need a little help with the performance gremlins you can get some help on the 1st and 2nd gen VFR site at http://vfrworld.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/14-1st-amp-2nd-Generation-1983-1989.
Not as many people poking around but there are more than a few 500 owners that might be able to help you with your power problems. I would probably point to the carbs and make sure you wire and compressed air every orifice in them suckers and make sure the diaphragms do not have any holes in them. That bike that grcamna had in his pics are the cleanest stock fairing I have ever seen- hopefully you can buy them.

Yo guys, thanks for the help.  I should update this a little more.  After the second carb cleaning, this thing is running pretty strong and seems to get stronger with every mile ridden.  Still have not put on more than about 50 miles total because of weather, bad tires, and a very leaky fork seal.  I know as soon as I buy tires, Michigan weather is gonna blizzard hard and end all hope of any kind of riding for months...Murphy's Law of New Tires in Winter.
Dukie I have a thread going at VFRDiscussions Forum.  It's real quiet over there.  I will check out vfrworld
Camna, as scarce as parts are for this thing, I will jump all over that parts carb.   Your neigbor with the fairing lowers seems kinda reluctant to send me more better pics and what he wants for them.  If he still has them and we work a deal, maybe you could stick the carb in with them.
If it works good, it looks good...

Sean, the neighbor(kid) Seth  is very reclusive and kinda anti-social & a lot like other folks here in these apts. I try to leave a note on his door but he doesn't get back to me.He's full time into computer games day & night so I never know when he's really fully awake;he's left his EX250 outside to rot & won't let me work on it for him...
if he does get back to me.. I'll give him the carb. to send to you;if you want to mention it to him that could work also.I hope he gets back to you.
I can sure send the carb. out to you for $10,let me know if you want me to send it out to you in a small box w/ soft packing.
