Hi Everyone, can anyone tell me the differences between the tank to engine oil lines on various models of cb750 K and F. Info would be appreciated, thanks.

I think they are all the same, just the oil tank is different?
If it works good, it looks good...

The "A" hose is code "300" and thus identical on all models. The later models (F1 and newer) use code "392" for the "B" hose. So, I am not certain that this one is interchangeable.

+1 but the difference starts on the F0 (1975) and I believe the B hose is slightly longer

Right you are. I keep forgetting about the F0 because it is literally unheard of outside the U.S., and its existence is even less known to the world than the one of the K8 model. So, out of habit, I always associated the 392 code with the F1. But, as you pointed out, that is incorrect. Old habits die hard though.

The reason I ask is because I bought a set of steel braided oil lines and though I have managed to get them on, the B oil line in particular seems a too long by about 1/2 an inch. I bought them off e-bay some time ago for about £60 which would have been a good deal if they fitted properly. From what has been said, it would seem that they are off an F model and I am rebuilding a K1. I think that if I leave them they will rub the powdercoat off the frame. So if anyone in the UK wants a cheap set of oil lines let me know or it's back on e-bay!
