im interested what kind of miles people have gotten so far out of the matic..

have you had to rebuild? new rings? transmission no issues?

mines 16k with no engine work. new coils, dyna, sonic fork springs , hagon rear has made it run like a ..Japanese quartz watch

mine's a 77 32,000 no major repairs(swapped cam and carbs off a 74k)just normal maintance

Had 21,000 with no issues. swapped to dyna and freshened the carbs and dropped the oil pan for a look and found nothing to be alarmed with at 20,000.

25215.3 on my '77, I put maybe 10 miles on it, unknown previous history. Top end is great, but H gear in the tranny's gone. Haven't fixed it yet, but picked up a couple spare motors along the way. Been busy with other bikes and boats lately, but plan on getting it done this year.

Mine has a nice 37765k on the clock. Doing a k cam swap and matching carbs. For the age its spotless inside. Gauge is off for clip ons

Uhm 51k and speedos never worked for me has gs750 front end so add 7-10k for my riding
I finally took off all guages and turn signals... I use a garmin forerunner 201 as speedo
