i'm not a 750 guy but rest assured, cam chain tensioner and valve clearence adjustment work as described in the honda manual even with electronic ignition. there's no connection.

the fact that you have installed an electronic ignition has no influence on how to adjust cam chain tension or tappet clearance. if you pick up a manual and follow the instructions, they're valid.

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up for me. I didn't fit the dyna s, terry from Australia kindly did for me a few years ago. But I live pretty far away from him now unfortunately. Just out of curiosity- what pages in manual is the valve clearances adjustment explanation well described? I think I spotted the cam chain tensioner part in the supplement notes part. Could you help here please or could you get someone else you know with cb750 four to respond please to my query.
