If a black cat running in font of you
« on: December 07, 2014, 02:47:09 PM »
is bad luck.  What is running over one?   I hit one yesterday. Hope it was in front of the owners house.  I hate cats running around unless its on a farm to control mice.

 Well, in that case it's bad luck for the cat. Too bad, cats in town kill rodents too. Mine leaves them the patio in case I'm hungry. He takes care of a 4-5 house area. The neighbors report on his good work, keeping ground squirrels out of the flowers and rabbits out of the gardens.

Did it snuff the poor guy?  I would think they might usually they would survive something like that, might break some bones and get a vet bill.

I had a squirrel try to run under me a week or two ago, I think all that hit was my foot and peg.  He ran off just fine.

Yeah, they are mostly useless for catching mice. All the cats seemed to do on my parent's farm was get bitten by rattlesnakes until they croaked. I would like to let out a rat snake or two on my property to kill some mice and moles but with my luck it would be a preggers female.
