He helped me out a bunch.  I can set points the way the karate kid catches flys blind folded.  Not sure I would have gotten there without his help.

He is/has been a true gentleman and a font of knowledge on many, many things. Always made folks learn instead of just giving them the answers (myself very much included). Sorely missed.
Absolutely, also a lot of his posts were quite humorous.

"Honda engineers". Most engineers are pretty anal. Lloyd is an engineer for those that do not know. Usually nothing short of perfection for them. Lloyd included. Not a thing wrong with that. To me it was the issue of understanding that fact and appreciating it and understanding that we all have different personalities.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

The restorations he did completely showed that^^^^^^^He took everything to the nth degree. I pm'ed him a couple times, the first drew a long response but  there wasn't any response from the second pm.  Just hope he is well and sure would like to see him return...Larry

Some of us appreciated him more than others.
+2

True. But on the other side, it got a bit old hearing  "that's not how the Honda engineers had in mind" when someone modded there bike and had some minor issue.

Yep, he knew a lot, but couldn't accept that improvements could be made to just about any bike's basic design, and he'd get really sh1tty if you disagreed with him. "My way or the highway" can become two tiresome....... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

My nomination for current member who suffered major ridicule and taunting and survived with humor and grace is Noddy and his steampunk project .  Way to go Noddy  :)   http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,136511.0.html

Yep, I apologised to him, but a few members commenting here didn't, as I recall.......... ;D
