Hello to all

Hi there!  Just fount this site. I have just purchased a 1973 CB750 K2 for $500. I will post pictures shortly. It needs love, but runs fine. Is there a way to find out the original colour of the machine since I could not find it in this website? Thanks!!

Welcome on board. Your contributions will be very welcome. Be prepared to share in the agony and the ecstacy of sohc ownership/riding/maintenance.

We talk about all kinds of stuff, some of which causes some of us to get a bit hot under the collar. But it's all fun, as long as no one waves a stick and puts an eye out!

Welcome!  I found out my color the hard way: took some 320 grit sandpaper to the tank and went at a spot lightly.  It was easy to tell where the original paint was because the "new" paint that had been applied was much thinner than the original factory stuff(especially since it was likely spray-can).  When I found the paint guide here it was still helpful since I thought my color was burgundy (it's actually Candy Antares Red)  ;D
