Thanks Hondaman and Scambller I am pretty sure I have one in storage. A trick for those nats I learned this year is that they see the color red, orange, and blue the best. If I paint in my shed they can't see the color and don't get attracted.
That's the weirdest thing: when I painted the bike on the cover of my book (Gold) they were not around until I shot the Gold top Candy color, then they appeared out of nowhere by the hundreds, diving into the paint and dying. I stopped and [later] stripped it and started over inside the garage instead of my "box" outside, but on the Candy a few still showed up.
When I did the Red, I was inside, tarp wrapped around in a 'closet', no bugs in sight anywhere (Colorado has few, anyway), and as soon as I got to Red base, they were EVERYWHERE. It's like catnip?
