What's going on with this cam?

I was gifted a lot of old harley parts and this (unused? ) performance cam was in a box.  However the cam lobes look a bit pitted in places and there's some strange wear on the shaft where I'm assuming it would make contact while rotating.   Does this look usable/fixable/salable?

It can be reground but may not be cost effective

The well used cam was unable newish box......looks like to me.
Any marks or number on cam? Looks hopped to me. Looks like the oil they used is one to stay away from..
