CB400F engine in CB77 frame
« on: September 24, 2014, 02:47:45 AM »
Hi All,   Been a while since I asked a question!..   However here's a LULU!
I have a complete CB77 (ready for restoration next year), and a second CB77 Frame - but a mixed up engine (C72 bottom half, and what I think is a CB77 top half) - so I might be able to make that work.
In the meantime I saw a picture of a CB77 with a CB400F engine, and it looked smart.
So my questions start with - anyone else seen or heard of this bike?   Anyone know how difficult it might be to marry up this mix?
Look forward to some responses.    Arthur

I think I have seen something like that, not sure what the frame was but 400f motor and older style tank. I can't remember where it was.

cb 77 dont have the front tubes and front engine mounts..the cb 77 frame... looks exatc like a cbx 1000.....
so the 350/400 engine must have veld..or bolted a engine mount in the head..as it not only can be hænging in the 2 mount bolts at back..

dont like the mod..it have not style..as the orginal cb 77..or the orginal cb 400 four...i like mods..vhen the resultat gets better then the orginal bikes..but this ruin all
