Kick start with tarozzi rearsets cb500

I've read that getting a 77-78 750 kick start makes it work but I just don't see how. Its the peg that gets in the way. Any other way to keep kick start? How has no one machined another knuckle yet?

Devin's bike but it looks like the peg is at a very low angle?

Is that kickstart lever from a k or an f 550?...too lazy to go searching for pics right now  The 550 f kickstart will sweep farther out.  Also, Tarrozi has a fold up peg available and Fast From the Past sells individual Tarrozi replacement parts, so you would not have to buy a whole new rearset.

 If you notice on Devin's bike, the kicker has been reshaped.

 That's a K kicker in the first post. The F kicker won't clear either.

IS the lack of a starter motor making the bike much faster?

Either reshape the stock kicker or buy a folding peg.

Heat it and bend it. Look at some off the Kott cycles. He bends out about an inch to clear and back in...

 The 550F legs don't clear, either. I have a bike I'm working on that has Tarozzi rear sets and a 550F kicker.....it's a No-Go.

 You're gonna have to get creative with heating/bending/welding or something.

If that happens I shouldn't be riding a bike I tore apart and put back together.

Turns out that 77-78 kicker doesn't work either. Going to see how hard it is to bend the stock kicker.
