The whole time I'm listening I'm nodding my head in agreement.  But I know why people don't ride every day, it isn't for everyone so I don't spit on them or hate them or beat them up or something.  But yeah, I know where he's coming from.  I know a few gals who ride all the time, regular work commuters - two on bikes one on a scooter.  They aren't making fashion statements - just trying to get to work.

He won't be making any Youtube friends that's for sure.

Yes very cool.   One of my old G/F that did ride a hardly and me came up with the term Yuppie harley riders.  Weekend posers. OK but many act like they ride hard.
18 grand and 18 miles dont make you a biker

Frankly I don't see how people can do that - assuming he's being truthful.

I have to think about it the way that I ride.  I have a 100 mile commute - ~50 each way, that and the riding to and from the store, little trips, vacations - it's about 15,000 a year.  To get to a million miles I'd have to ride my bike like that for almost 70 years.  I wouldn't be alive long enough to accumulate that many miles.

May have been done partly by previous owner. I know of a guy that did 75,000 in year on a hardtail 836.

My wife wears a pink full face helmet and pink riding jacket (colors she picked herself) along with a small back pack if we're on the 750 on a long trip. Biker chick, weekend poser, it makes no difference to her what title someone wants to put on her but one thing is for sure is that she's a babe, my babe to be exact and she can ride with me any time she wants. :) Messing with older bikes is a passion of mine that she enjoys participating with me as well and it's something that gets both of us out of the house, I'm cool with that.

There is a woman around here that definitely falls into the biker chick category, I swear this woman can't be any taller than 5'6" but she rides a big HD fat boy with open exhaust and it's amusing to watch because her small frame on top of that big of a bike looks so out of place but she rides it like there's no tomorrow with a scowl on her face that says "get the hell outta my way".

Best combination. Hot chic that likes to spend time riding with her guy.
