Nomination thread for Bike of the Month - January 2015.
« on: November 30, 2014, 03:17:57 AM »
OK guys, this is where we start again, it's nominating time for January 2015.
Congrats to Tige on his run away victory in BOTY 2014.
I was a little disappointed in that none of the contestants tried to push their bikes to try to gain votes, perhaps they didn't know they had been included in it.
Remember, If you nominate a persons bike in BOTM, it's up to you to notify that person so that he can accept when seconded, perhaps next year, I'll contact all in BOTY to let them know they are in it.
Good luck everyone....let battle commence.

Sam. ;)

It's gotta be SohRon's 550... Off to inform him in his thread  :D

Cheers, Sam! Hope your doctor visit went well last week and that maybe they'll let you back across the sea soon?

Nomination=Vote implied. We don't play straight on this side of the wee pond, Sam  :o SohRon can rest assured of at least 2, 3 if he votes for himself  :D

OK, Sam et al;  just so everything is above board and according to Hoyle I hereby most graciously accept your nominations for Bike Of The Month and humbly request that you consider gracing me and my little scooter with your votes in the pending competition. There have been some pretty remarkable rides represented here, and I would be honored to be (at least potentially) included among them.

Better?  ;)

Here are some more shots of the bike, in case you haven't seen them (click on the pic to expand)

That's just an absolutely beautiful Bike SohRon!

Brings me back to the first factory 500's I rode when they first came out. Very few of the resto's capture that sense of authenticity..I suggest..

I think that 500/550 on tracks should be nominated again  since it's January. I nominate that bike (?).

.....Maybe think about changing the contest to sohc4 of the month....

Have a look through some of the old competitions, as long as they are older than 6 months and didn't win, they can be re-nominated.
