LMAO, that's the cc kit as sold, but actually 1062. Talks cheap, we'll know more later this week at dyno. That's my guess for first pass...then hopefully lower. Last time when I installed RC clubfoot I guessed 11.96....Ran 11.94! Lol, Bill

She'll go quicker for sure. Just do what's comfortable to you at first to get used to the changes you made to the bike. The lower ET's will come.

BILL:   That 1062 motor = COBRA MOTOR ???  All new parts should run 10.20s or better. Like 9.99 then you get NHRA license ......

I'm sure the 1062 Cobra engine is going to be a strong one.  I think we will need to be patient though regarding cobra girl reaching her full potential on the track.  Billy has done quite a bit of upgrading since past season, so I expect it will take a bit to dial everything in.  Take your time Billy, the ETs will come. ;)

By the way, I tend to agree with Pops that this engine should be capable of a 10.20 something pass. If my stock valve, well used 1030 can run 10.30's on a heavier chassis, Bill should have absolutely no problem going quicker with his bigger, fresh 1062 with a lighter chassis and longer swingarm. We've all got our fingers crossed.

Yep, it's finally got a front brake,  new PM caliper. No leaks anywhere! Needs acc pump disabled and number plate fixed.
I'll know tomorrow about Brian and local dyno visit.  I agree with Frank. I want A/F most important. Others be nice but I want the max....and protection!

Better FAT than LEAN = Got to have a jet box with more than a few [4 ] jets for the CHANGING TIMES ON YOUR WEATHER STATION. That the advantage with fuel injection and a brain box your box will be a big help. Or buy a RACEPAK and do your own download and jet change with that information.

I agree with you on being fat Pops. You witnessed yourself on my bike the dial in nightmare on a lean bike with bad air. They'll fly when the ratio is right though.

What day will you be arriving at Rockingham??

+2 on the A/F. If the mechanicals are set then the A/F is the finishing touch to output.

No Mono shock on Bills or Franks SOHC rides but 4 carbs in a row = that's why you need a weather station for the DA as by setting the jets on a Dyno will be good for that location but could be way off for the ROCKS DA. Dyno at the track would be the trick = MSP did that for years at PRO-STAR.
Find some one at the track that has their weather station up and running = lucky me JEGS BIG YELLOW and BLACK rig is always parked about 700' from my trailer every weekend with top shelf information I can check my handheld against. Troy Coughlin said JEGS has been trying to buy my home track but NHRA are dragging their feet about a sale.

Okay Turboguzzi, I actually have been slowly collecting more parts eventhough the chassis and engime work has slowed down. I saw an ad in the local Craigslist for a Honda parts so i clicked on the details and the fella had a brand new CB1100F Vanes and Hines sidewinder for sale. I called him up and made a deal to buy it for $150. I had to drive about an hour to pick it up but for that price i may have gone 4 hours. Lol. The pipe was perfect so i went to fork over the $$ when he told me he had a few other parts including a CB1100F front fairing. Finding one in good shape is dang near impossible. He goes in his truck and pulls out this original red and white colored piece. The thing was in GREAT shape. I figured he'd want an arm, leg and a nut for it. He told he'd take $125 for it and i reached deep before he changed his mind. In our conversation from the previous day, i asked about CB1100 rods but he never responded one way or the other. As i was loading up the other parts, he pulls out a set of rods for me to inspect. Sure enough, they were a set of those ever illusive MA3 rods.  To my surprise, they were in great shape with no heat issues on the small end and no spun bearings. Before i could ask how much, he told me they were a gift. Gift you say?? Yeah, absolutely free. Wow. Now that makes 2 sets of MA3 rods that i've acquired for free. I'll be using one set in the engine for this mono shock bike whenever i get the piston dilema sorted out.

Its been slow, but some progress is better than none.

Well, since I've been repeatedly donating back the reaction time, low ETand high moh bonuses from the Man Cup race since last December, I've decided to cash in from the last event. I'm going to use my earnings to get an aftermarket chromemoly arm done to be sure I've got a light weight setup. I want to build this bike as light as possible and if I extend the stock steel Katana Armas originally planned, I'll be adding a lot of weight to the package.

Now I'll be standing by my nail box waiting patiently for Bill Benton to send me my $500 check. Then its off to the fabricator to get the party started. Come on Bill!!!
