I have a 1979 CB650. Do you guys have some places that you would recommend for carb kits?

Ebay
1976 CB550K            1979 XS1100
1980 CB650C - Sold

It's a little motor and likes having the tits revved off it.

Ebay

Second that.

The crappy part is that the cost to buy individually is much more than a cheap, lower quality kit. Most guys, myself included end up having to buy the big kit and use just gaskets and float needle. The needles are expensive sold individually
The dirty girl-1976 cb750k, Ebay 836, Tracy bodykit
Round top carbs w/ 38 pilots, middle needle position, airscrew 7/8ths out, 122 main jet
Stock airbox w/ drop in K&N, Hooker 4-1

Don't trust me alone with a claw hammer and some pliers

Just don't get a Keyster set, a lot of people report problems from those.

dimecitycycles has a good selection. at ~$25 a piece theyre not the cheapest, but it was all i could find for my '77 cb750F2. I haven't used kits from them before so I can't comment yet on longevity

I ordered a cb750 69 to 76 kit from 4into1.com and was very happy with the quality.  Even the slow jet appeared to be the correct length.  What a miracle!
