Chain link length
« on: December 04, 2014, 01:32:01 AM »
About to buy a chain for my chain less K1. 18 front 48 back which I believe is standard.

How many links do I need, can't seem to find. Happy to buy a few more and reduce but don't want to be short. And also confirm 530 is the correct?

Paul

Yeah, better confirm 100 v 102. I think with 18/48 its 102. Check a microfish or parts book.

Dennis Kirk cataloge says 100. If you are cool with shortening then get 102 and you are covered. Dan

The last time I checked 1 chain length equaled 4 rods.  ;)
