For the last quarter century I have been meaning to upgrade my front motor mount. 754's post about his machined alloy mount got me thinking. While I can't machine things like 754 I can sure work a side grinder. I ordered a nice 4" x 4" piece of 1/4" 304 stainless. It was so hard I had to grind out the shape as I had nothing that would cut it. Would have never drilled the holes without a drill press. It polished out nice. Piece of stainless was $11.50 delivered. Thanks, Dan
