70mm = 970cc

ART pistons are high quality Japanese made pistons....

ART was the OEM supplier for honda pistons in the 70's, so no wonder you never heard about them  ::) ....... are you sure these are not stock CB450 pistons?

Do you have rings and pins? Are you selling these? Need bigger sleeves to run them..

I have the pins and rings which I'm not sure about .i probably won't sell them unless someone specifically wants them and makes an offer.
Not sure where to get the sleeves.
May be 450 pistons but I have 4 of them and they seem fairly high compression
Am presently racing an 836 CR Rep may make a bigger engine any ideas would be appreciated

Sleeves at APE or directly from LA Sleeves. Dynoman or CycleX perhaps. Wiseco.

We have a sleeve that goes in most late blocks without breaking thu in to the air passage.

The 450 Honda was a 70mm ART piston.  We made the first 970s using these pistons. They had a 17mm pin hole, so we made wrist pin bushings that fit on the ends of the 15mm pins and had a shoulder that allowed it to slip on the ends, and the 17mm clips in the piston kept them in.  Anyone remember those? we made thousands of them.

The very first ones and some 71s went to some guy down in Torrance named RC something.
