Cycle X has there 849cc Kit



Did they ever make a piston almost identical to this design in 836cc? there is conflicting info being there 65mm > 836cc but seller suggests there 849cc which should be 65.5mm

You should measure pistons 90 degrees from your picture, across the skirts, about .5" from the bottom. You should get pretty close to 65.5mm on the Cycle-X 849cc pistons.

The ones they are selling on feebay are 849cc kits as listed. The caliper shows 65mm which is misleading. I bought a set last week.

I did not realize that was a Cycle-X picture. Just checked their website and they have a typo on their 849cc kit there as well. 849cc is 65.5mm. Kenny needs to tune-up one of his guys/gals.

Weird auction if its Cycle X's return address? cost here is $99 on cycle x $249???  I was thinking of it just to put on the future projects shelf, Not so interested in 849, would rather stick to 811 or 836cc

The only thing I can figure is, the new kits listed on the site are "coated" and these are older kits that they want to move.

If you look at the sellers other items, you will see a few Cyclex products. Most likely slow movers or overstocks.

  $99 is the current bid,not the buy it now price. Ad states that they have extra stuff from a shop buyout, its not their regular stock.

The last few set they have sold went for around 135 -140 + shipping. My guess is this "seller" is someone at Cyclex.

Cheap 67.5mm pistons would be nice for my pile of parts.
