Are some of you down on the "American Pickers" guys too?

Good on Kevin for recognizing a gem.
Being in the biz yes I get a little tired of the American picker guys. They always have to keep chiseling and banging away on some of these poor folks for an extra few dollars off when they are going to more than double their profit anyways most of the time.  I would love to deal a little with them but I would probably show them the door instead. Dickering is fine and fun but there is a line where it can get rude and pushy.

I wonder why the "pickers" talk about the "passion" of ownership of any given bike, when they are going to turn around and sell it anyway. What's that all about?
And if it aint british, german, or early american, they rarely ever speak of it. Ever see how many old Hondas are in the background in some of those places they pick? That's ok, we don't need those guys competing with us anyway....Sorry for the mini rant...back to the program...

I've seen'em go through some dudes garages and pass right by most of the motorcycles there and announce "hey'frank there's motorcycles here, Man" and not even look at them.I've seen some good looking bikes on there 'trips' that I Sure would look at, Japanese Vintage Beauties !  8)

Well looks like I'm keeping the bike and maybe just maybe I'll put a few hundred more miles on it after new tires.

Did you end it early Kev ? or hadn't met the reserve ?

Ending the week of Christmas,  is usually bad for a few reasons. Same auction a month earlier or later..different. Result..
The next two days on ebay are usually. A goldmine if you are diligent.
