Topic: Ditching the relatives

I'm supposed to be visiting my dad this weekend, but I have this dang headcold that just won't leave me alone.
Last thing I need to be doing is coughing and hacking all day, disrupting everyone else's sleep hacking away all night.

I have this long vacation for the holiday before I have to go back to working 50 to 60 hour weeks and I'm spending it in a medication induced funk.

 There are lots of bugs going around here. Lots of missed parties and gatherings. Some of it's real catchy.

Stress induced cold no doubt.  Seems like I always get one around this time.

I usually pull 50 to 60 hour weeks on the job, kind of a sprint to the finish line if you will, the end result is usually a less than relaxing couple weeks off at the end of the year nursing a cold.  Nature of my job.
