hi fellas, my oldest son has just bought himself a yamaha dt125r to get to college and work on , can anyone recomend a good yamaha dealer in the uk? ,    thanks mick.

Hi Mick, try Tommy Elcheapo, he sells Yamaha parts, but for gods sake, don't try to knock him down on the price

I used to work for the guy who now owns/runs Thunder Road motorcycles in Bridgend South Wales.
Is the newer DT the same as the old one? I know a bit about the pre1995 ones

Hi, mcpuffett, my local bike shop is a Yammy dealer.
Check the website  www.thebikeshopfaversham.co.uk .
Don't know if it's any use to you as it's in North Kent but they are pretty good and they will work on old bikes, too. The chief spanner wielder is old school and particularly likes the Honda SOHC 4s.

Depends where you are but Fowlers of Bristol are a BIG yamaha dealer and have been for years. After that buy a Motorcycle News there are lots advertising in there.
