I have used the 2K over Rustoleum  Universal Pearl Enamel, easy to use and looked good when done.  It  is basically a one time use product though

Yeah, I would think you would have as many projects  laid out and dusted off  when you mix an epoxy can  @ $25 a pop.  But comparing to some of the nice duplicolors they're $15 any more, and it sounds like better paint and  you're wasting your time to use anything other than the two part on a tank.
