I learned first hand that the people who will really cherish/use these type of racing parts can't really afford to pay those prices. I was lucky to stumble upon a RC goldmine and hopefully have sold and traded the parts to the right people for the right prices.I only regret one eBay transaction because of a questionable buyer.

I saw this guy selling the parts a week or so ago. Would love to have those pistons and rods.

Why? Nostalgia? MUCH better hardware available for today's engines. Plus, I think the 75mm in his description is a typo. Pretty sure those are 72mm if his caliper is accurate. Also the picture of the cylinders, top and bottom, especially the bottom showing the sleeves protruding from the block would indicate to much space between them for a 75mm.

I have been watching them too.  I would love to have those parts in one of my new drag motors but as you said Trey they are out of my price range and most others too.  No bids on the big items yet, looks like he is definitely trying to get top dollar for them...bet he has to relists them several times at those prices.

I have emailed the guy with questions and he doesn't know much about RC parts or the 750 in general.  Got some pretty wishy washy answers.  On the ad for the crank it says less than 1000miles on the build but asked about the trans for this motor and he said the motor had 13k :o

Yes, there is new hardware available today to the old CB750's :)
I would like to have 915cc, Mike Rieck ported head with bigger valves,  (max for street), matching cam, Mikuni TMR 32's
APE Ultra crank with rods, lightened alternator, and maybe undercutted trans just for sure. I have missed 2:nd and 4:th on my bike some times when shifting gears too sloppy.

I can buy a very good not old 1000-1300cc not that old plastic racer with 150-200 hp for those money... But I do not feel any thrilling feeling in my stomach when watching the newer bikes as I do with an old CB750 or Z1-900/1000 from the 70's...

If they are the stroker pistons,  there is very small buying pool.
 Don't know if this stuff is all off same motor even..
 The alternator, there are pics with the starter stuff on, and then off...strange.!

 New stuff?  Ain't no Goldenrods..
 Pretty cool is you can make a good runner. If sing mostly old school components....especially. When you have been dreaming. About having one.....the last 40 years..

He's not aware of what's going on today and he's selling used stuff.

Just bought a NEW DP315 cam (RC) for $223. Coulda had the 327 for the same price. That head has stock size valves. The pistons are no big deal and they are NOT 75mm. IF the rods are that low miles how hard were they run for those miles? He needs to come down on his prices if he really wants to sell them. Wonder what became of that cheesy looking swingarm?? 
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Frank, how much would you charge to turn rotors? Lot less than $400 or even the going price at CycleX I'd bet.

Alternator rotors are fairly easy to turn. We did a few then tried balancing them..they were not out ( is what they said)
Should be done in batches, too bad I am near the 50th parallel..

Very poor listings.
People underestimate the value of a good listing when selling rare parts for top dollar.

Unsure if this was the guy that bought that RC F bike.
I remember the guy trying to flip the RC bike, then trying to part it out. 
Seemed to me they had a number in their head and didn't care if they sold whole or not.

yes seems they got the bike from an estate or something.way out there on pricing,this stuff changes hands but never seems to be seen in a build so must all be collecting dust somewhere!bill

I could see listing all the parts together to show actual. Condition. A piston clearance measurement would be a huge help.
 Then if it did not sell maybe part it out..
