Hey all, sorry I have pretty much been away for months now. Very busy with that cl350 I was building. I picked it up at Barber running with a title for $500, and although I rode my bike to Barber I couldn't pass it up. Was very blessed to find someone to trailer it back to savannah for me. since mid october my buddy (her brother) and I have been tirelessly working to strip down and completely refinish the bike. Yes it has been all secret but mostly I just haven't had time to post any updates or pictures. We did a video diary of it for every day that we worked on it, a total of 18 working days. I had a little bit more tedious work into it like all the sanding, prepping, painting and wiring but we compiled a "making of" video for her and surprised her with that after we unveiled the bike on christmas eve. it was a blast doing the project and she is overjoyed to say the least. I got to do a couple days of training with her, using the same fundamentals that I was taught at my new riders course I took two years ago. she has a scheduled course up in atlanta where she lives at the end of january/beginning of february so we are excited about that. She picked it up very quickly and I can't wait for her to be riding it around making everyone envy. I am very proud of the bike
regarding BOTM, I talked with Don, and have sent an email to Bob Wessner requesting his status be updated to forum moderator for the BOTM side. I am sorry to hear about Sam's condition worsening, and want to thank him for all of the hard work he has done to make BOTM possible. I am in full support of having Don pick up the reigns, as I am still swamped with a cb450, dohc 750, nx650, and going to pick up another 78 750 as well. I just don't have much time to get on here anymore between work, bikes, music, and general life.
