« on: December 30, 2014, 04:56:52 PM »
i started rebuilding my carbs, only doing i believe carb #1 (left carb if sitting on the bike) and while putting back together i notice it has a tiny bearing and spring, from the diagram its ONLY on that carb but it doesn't show where it actually goes. Any help?

Look at the INNER end of the choke shaft, behind the nut and washers, there is a bracket that has a detent ball and spring....Maybe?

This is the detent ball for the choke. The spring and ball go into the carb body under the plate on the choke shaft, on the #2 side of the carb: the ball drops into a dimple on the back of the plate to hold choke on (and/or off?)
