 GL1000 offset is 45mm.

Paul is building motorcycles these days. Check out his website at www.flashbackfab.com if you are in the market for a new Excelsior!

Might need axle, i have the drive tang for speedo drive, I would think drive is same as 750?
The width, remeasured appears to be 198.5 mm. I looked online but could not find the early GL width?

My GL1000 axle is about 10-1/4". I'm running a CB750 hub which fits using the axle spacers from the GL. Speedo drive is interchangeable as well.

I also found that '81 GL1100 calipers fit the early holders. They are one piece with 43mm pistons in lieu of 38mm. They are also lighter than the two piece originals.

Pretty sure the "Expensive Lightweight #$%*' ELS logo is from Pete Aronson of Hyper-Formance.com in Tempe, AZ.
He has lots of products for the Kawasaki ZX11.

Naw, his logo is Expensive Lightweight Stuff, not #$%*. ;D There is a pic of former member climbingaz's kid on the advancer page; I'm guessing from just about the time of the first relay!? (For those that don't know, climbingaz (Shawn) carried Godzilla from New Mexico to Arizona.)
