CB750K1 swing arm bushing
« on: January 02, 2015, 12:24:52 PM »
First post here and I need some help. I removed the swing arm bushings from my 1971 CB750 and I was wondering if the newer style bronze collared bushing will fit my swing arm? Currently the swing arm uses the recessed bushings and it looks like it's going to be a pain to install collarless bushings.

that a great idea on how to install the collared bushings but I'm confused on which bike he's doing this on??? He says it's a K3 which would have the same swing arm as mine but the swing arm looks like it's from a later model K.

Welcome! Most seem to be installing the "top hat" style bronze bushings, maybe because the plain bronze bushings are impossible to find online. They will work, you just need to lose the felt and thrust washers. Do a search of the forum, there are a lot of posts and opinions about swingarm bushings.

That is an F swingarm, i had to use one to fit in F wheel with rear disc brake. But the bushing and critical dimensions are the same 1970-1978, there are some differences how the swingarm is lubricated but all the parts are interchangeable.
