Put back to stock or as is to sell?
« on: October 07, 2006, 09:32:14 PM »
A friend wants to sell a '73 CB750. It has a windjammer, sissy bar, rack, etc. Would it sell better with or without all the crap? It isn't origional paint. It does have of stock pipes but the baffles have been removed and I don't think he has them anymore but the crome is nice. I wanted to list it here instead/before he puts it on Ebay.

I usually take all that crap off and toss'em in the back of my customers truck beds at random. Anything to keep from having to box them and sell them on eBay.  ;D

I am not sure where this is but I did notice that the speed limit is 150. Texas maybe?

Sounds like Nevada where they hold the Silver State Classic:

It starts with a push of the button as he showed me yesterday. I don't think it's as cold blooded as mine was. No side cover badges. If anyone wants more pictures let me know. He's not sure what it's worth and neither am I. Mine sold for $1,500.00. The origional pipes probably add something but the paint detracts. We are in Milford Iowa.
