cb400 tacho
« on: January 04, 2020, 09:23:15 AM »
Hello,I disassembled my CB400F gauges to change the dials.
Now I have the dials and I want to reasemble them but it has been a while and dont seem to remember where a
little copper clamp like thingy goes. I had to disassemble the day counter and i thought it came frome there but I am not seeing from where.
Does someone have some pictures from the cb400F tacho internals? I looked on the net but I could only find pictures from the CB750. It is slightly
different.

regards

Tim

If I remember correctly there are two clamps on the trip shaft either side of a sliding piece to hold it together if you post a picture I can confirm for you, regards Gary

If you look at this pic and zoom into it you should be able to see the part. That’s if your talking about the Speedo trip lol cos you mentioned tachometer.
