I have used-old school mercury sticks, emgo gauges, morgan carbtune, homemade manometer. Morgan carbtune was the easiest to use by far, old school mercury sticks came in second. Now if I could just convince myself that vacuum syncing cb750 carbs is even worth the time and effort, I'd try out my Motion Pro tool.

that link was about as helpful as dog #$%* on white carpet?
If you calibrate them to each other in the normal range of operation prior to use they will all be super accurate. All you need is some plastic or rubber tubing, three tees and a syringe to pull vacuum and adjustable gauges. Basically you want gauges with the adjustment screws on the face.Analog (Emgo Type) and digital gauges (industrial type) do not care if they are level and can read fine flat or upside down, you don't have to be concerned with liquid either. I like to pick my poison carefully. LOL 80-100 bucks should get you a decent hassle free tool.
