yeah, I am kinda excited about it...it is pretty stock except for a decent black repaint, drag bars, and dyna S ignition with ACCEL coils...runs and rides now but needs some carb work to cure hard starting and very slowww warm-up and the starter clutch is knackered

She's a beauty.  I just saw a gorgeous KZ1000 on Saturday with a Vance & Hines pipe and PM brakes.  Awesome looking bikes!

got KZ1000-check, got Vance and Hines-check, just stock brakes though, and it sure ain't gorgeous....that is actually my longest term project bike, really need to get back to it

I like the Z1000J, great engines, the CHP used them for over 20 years in the Z1000p

I like the Z1000J, great engines, the CHP used them for over 20 years in the Z1000p
mine is generation before the J, shares more parts (basically everything)with the Z1/900, but yeah, you can basically build those J's to make whatever power you want/can afford

No worries there, I had a beautiful Kaw 1000, toured all around the US on it, was a great bike.
