A big Thanks To calj737

A big Thanks to cal he took time to help me pull my engine off my 550. he stop by my house thurday night on his way back home wood buring hot and I did my best to help him, I pull some parts before he got there. he said I'm for the South, I told him it was cold here but he calls it a arctic blast well that's what the news said to. but really I'm Thankful for all he did for me. but was told I can not give away any trade secret I said ok done. Cal is a great guy, he has also helped me out.  I plan to repay with beer & BBQ one day. 

Hope his head is not getting too big....ha!

cal said it would take 2 hour to take the motor out, Well that didn't go as planed one bolt and a hour or so later it was out. he did all the work so when it come time to put the motor in the other bike I'm in trouble I didn't watch to much. it was great to meet you as well cal and see someone pm me about them secret you showed me. I cant remember if it was ekpent or some other name I couldn't say. I should stop talking good about him his head going to pop. Jim

 Well that didn't go as planed one bolt and a hour or so later it was out.

Some take hours at a time for months. You can hear the difference of the sound of beating a  stuck bolt and one that is moving.

I have no clue what he's referring to? I think he's confusing when I told him, "Keep my visit a secret, I don't want a bunch of blokes thinking I make house calls". You can see how that worked out  :-[

Hopefully you can swing into Kalamazoo from Detroit Cal, I will lock you in the shop for a week or so with a to do list on the workbench and slide a little food and refreshments under the door a couple times a day   ;D

Wow i need to make a to do list for cal and my shop was a little messy, and I'm not saying It's the leg it was the sister.the place I'm working out of is her's and the tools were here and there but and no pb just wd40 wont happen again I'll be ready

What day is good for you? Skip the food, just coffee and nicotine please. Do I need to bring tools, or is your shop well-equipped and organized?

Hey Cal......can you put me on that list?   I'll get you the best BBQ IN THE state, need to get this H1 motor rebuilt.  Shouldn't take us but a day or two, no pesky cams or valves to mess with.
