honda cb750f1 spark plugs

Hi Guys
I have just taken my plugs out ,to replace with new and found that the code is   ngkd8es-l.
I was under the impression that the recomended plug is ngkd8ea .
My bike is a cb750f1 (from germany) if that makes any diff!

IIRC,  the 'L' is for long.
yes, D8EA's are the correct NGK plugs
Id be interested in knowing if your bike acts differently/better with the D8EA's...

If it's from Germany, then it was initially equipped with NGK DR8-ESL rather than the D8-ESL. Not that it makes a difference to you.

D8ES-L, stock in the good ol days, is 1/4 range hotter than D8EA. I found a bloke with a stash of D8ES-Ls n bought 20 off him. I'll use them in winter, might be just a tad better at startup in the cold.
