GV,
I imagine that was either Kemp doing the alternations) to the exhaust.  Was that to accommodate your swingarm?

Kemp did not make the alterations although he does think it looks "hot" haha. :) Yes, it was to accommodate my swingarm....also, as I don't have passenger mounts any longer I had to come up with a solution for mounting the muffler. Since the front section has a slip-fit with springs, I wouldn't be able to just leave it hang with only springs. Instead I came up with the idea to weld the rear section and also weld on a mount using the same bolt my rear master shares. Stoked with how it came out.

The welds look great.  Someone had decent skills with a tig.

I just appreciate beautiful welds, Gennaro. Hipsters, not so much. But you're still "ok" in my book.

Speaking of "Hipsters," our former member J Wilde recently purchased a Yamaha XS650 based upon a pair of Yamaha coveralls from the 1970s.  Now that's using your nugget!!

Swap "whimsical" with your adjective of choice.

Don - maybe you should start a thread with Wilde's Facebook and Instagram posts. I'm sure there are many members curious as to what J Dubs is up to.

Sorry, GV: for certain he (JW) is not up on his math skills. In the linked post, he indicates this is his 2nd bike. But he also states on DTT with his aliased thread there, that he owns a 350 & a 750, as he said repeatedly here. So I don't understand how 1+1+1=3. Maybe I'm not up on the new Hipsterific Math?
