Bump for update!

Shhhhhhhhhhhhh.  :-X

I've been riding this thing since it's been completed, no issues. Headlight went on me but that was because a corner of the sealed beam broke so moisture ended up taking over and blowing the bulb - easy fix. Going to change a couple little things over winter, nothing too drastic.

On a side note; I somehow purchased a 78' CB550, 72' CB500-4 and a 73' CB500-4. I got a deal on the 73' so I decided hell with doing a light restore on the 72' so that along with the 78' spare 550 I had are posted for sale. I wanted something older that I can ride 2-up on for the lady plus I love pre-77 CB's.

The 73' has some light mods done. Only thing I don't really like is that it already has a hoop welded in for an aftermarket seat. I prefer a stock seat for something of this caliber. I'll be altering the seat, putting a real exhaust on it and just changing a few other little things. This is the smoothest CB I've ever ridden, it's really dialed in and that itself makes it great to me.

DGR Buffalo 2016:

73' CB500-4:

Also took the Ural out to a wedding last weekend...the clutch along with many other pieces finally came in from Russia, that's next up on the chopping block for winter prepping:

This little lady loves it, haha:

Pretty nice 1973. I too would change the seat and keep it stockish.

GV is opening a used bike dealership!  I guess Putin prevailed in getting you some forced labor parts for the URAL.   ;)

I completed the clutch on the Ural, 2wd mode works awesome now (Ask Sinister902)! She also got all new fluids, new one-piece intake boots, an awesome front fairing, hand guards, exhaust work and a bunch of new gaskets. My 73' CB500 received a nice Hindle Exhaust (Thanks Kemp!) and some rear-sets. Next up is to install the 18" rear wheel I acquired for it and swap the seat out.

Winter mode here in WNY:

There should be a burnout video posted on here of it. I can post one though if you'd like! Sounds really good.

That photo of you in the car wash bay is absolutely HILARIOUS!!! I was lucky enough that mine wasn't too caked on.... but I still had a lot of brushing, Engine De-greaser, and dirty paper towels . Ha-ha.

Next time, I'm doing that!   Not sure if you got yours back yet or if that photo is from a while ago... IF you have any photos, I would love to see them. Thanks buddy.

Somehow after work yesterday Sinister and myself went on a 10 hour trip and picked up a mini lot of CB550's, miscellaneous parts and also a complete inverted front end:

Also stopped at Bombers Burrito Bar in Schenectady, NY that was pretty tasty.

Will be posting more updates soon. :)
