Things that will be for sale:
Seat + Pan
Hindle Exhaust
Foot controls (Rear-sets + One off linkage)
Adapter/Axle/Spacers to run a GSXR forks to a factory hub
Headlight + mount
Woodcraft clip-ons with risers
Master cylinder
Rear juiced drum setup (Wilwood Slave + AP Racing Master)
MAYBE my internal throttle setup but thats a question mark for now.

Kind of surprised you are getting rid of that headlight. It was one of the things that gave this bike a distinct look.

I passed on the sureshift gear position indicator.  Useful, but damn that sucker is a wee bit awkwardly LARGE.  Too bad they couldn't build the feature into the Chronoclassic.

What's the story on the ap master cylinder? Why was the hole drilled/ tapped further back in your thread? I might be interested.

I know, I know....was on the fence with it but then again, I have another one anyway just in case I change my mind. I may not sell it, who knows - regardless, not a big ticket item anyway.

I'd keep that MC to drive your new rear disc! It's a very cool part

I may! I have two of them. The master is 21.8mm so I need to make sure it'll work considering the rotor diameter, wheel diameter and weight of the bike as you already know.

I passed on the sureshift gear position indicator.  Useful, but damn that sucker is a wee bit awkwardly LARGE.  Too bad they couldn't build the feature into the Chronoclassic.

I thought it was too large as well....worst case scenario I sell it if I don't like it or toss it on another bike.

What's the story on the ap master cylinder? Why was the hole drilled/ tapped further back in your thread? I might be interested.

The hole was tapped for the feed line as there was no thread from the factory. It was threaded so I didn't have to run AP's special reservoir fitting.

Yikes! 21.8mm! That wold stop my Super Duty  :o Guess you'll need a smaller rear MC to replace it.  :(

Are you race-cutting the trans, too, or swapping to GSXR rods?

What's the ETA on your JMR head?

Nick and I both dropped our gear sets off together so yes, those will be cut as well. Not sure on rods yet, going to see how healthy my factory ones are. If they need something beefier ,they will get something beefier.

Last I spoke to Mike it was in queue so waiting on the master himself to get to it - no rush.

They definitely won't need something beefier for the power we're making, but couldn't hurt, right?

Plus your S550 combined! AP Racing does make this stuff for NASCAR so, doesn't surprise me.

Better put all the recent $ candy in the safe as flatlander has been making targeted strikes if you believe his photos and claims of absconding with an exhaust from Scott in SC.
There goes 1/2 a month's discretionary fund, eh GV?
Wish I had that kind of discretionary purchase fund for 3 months...that would be nice...

I mean, how many options are there really besides Carrillo and a GSXR setup? To be honest, I rather put together something with proven results that's been done before...rather not be a test mule in a sense. The GSXR rods are slightly heavier...believe it was roughly 40 grams heavier per rod. Not sure how I feel about the extra weight spinning at higher RPM's. Granted you can have some rotating mass reduced elsewhere but still.

Haha. Those exhausts surely are nice but damn, that kinda dough is surely a lot! Can't say I'd buy a set for my other CB until this one is done....I also just put a Hindle on it in which I don't think I've even ridden it since. Thankfully selling some parts from V1 will offset this hefty bill ever so slightly...it'll probably pay for my head and that's about it.

While the GSXr rods are stronger than our stocks, I can't see putting that effort into a street motor. And unless you're racing track days for $, I'd devote the time and effort to building more bikes than a few HP-enhanced single bike. My $0.02

Woah, Cal and I agreeing on something....the world may stop spinning today! :)

But yes, I agree. While this will be getting tracked 100%, it wont be devoted JUST to track days. It'll see far more street riding for sure.

What's even crazier, to me, is spending $10,000+ to get an extra 10 HP out of the CB450 engine. Seems foolish.

GV I take it your using your cr26 carbs for this build? Don't you think you might be a little under gunned now with the engine modifications? Stock 650 carbs were 26mm with an accel pump. Glad to see your making intelligent upgrades though.

I'm also doing CR26's as recommended from MRieck. Anything larger won't be that streetable. It's more than the bore size for carbs. It's the shape of the inlet and such.

Let me clarify: Mike didn't recommend that I get the 26's for my bike, per se. He did recommend the 26's over any larger CR specials, though. For what i want my bike to do, obviously. Won't be a track bike.
