You asked who's next, you mean to get a DOHC4?

I recently picked up a 1979 CB750 Limited, 10th Anniversary Edition.

Removing the sissy bar is the first thing that needs to happen.    Then, I need to get a brake caliper.

Keep the sissy bar, add a Vetter, front and rear roll bars and be the envy of the block.  ....Larry

I'm just excited to finish my second bike refresh so far this fall, first was the 77 cb400F, then the Yamaha XS850 and now the CB900c honda. I might sneak the 76 CB400F back in line ahead of the cb900. It starts and runs, I already did the carbs, 3,000 mile service and freshened the brakes. Dang pods, I need several airbox parts.
That was what who's next meant.
I like the 750, Looks like you found some DOHC gold there, even though I have some in the shop, I'm no longer a fan of the windjammer/sissy bar look. A luggage rack is nice on occasion though. Like when you ride to the bike shop to get more stuff!  It would be warmer with that jammer on the 900 though, l0l.

I've almost picked up a few 900's over the years, I like the way they look. I have heard from owners that they don't know why there is hi/ lo aux. they claim they never had to use it... I don't care  but if another one comes along  it's welcome on my trailer.
This weekend I picked up a dohc 84 650, not even close to as pretty as that anniversary
750 , I really like that paint. My PO thought flat black was the way to go.He was wrong. Should get to the paint this spring.
A few Honda 500's, a few Honda 550's, a few Honda 650's, '72 cb 450, a couple 500/550/650 hybrids, and 2001 750.
550 Snowbike -Somebody had to do it.

I have a friend that has a 650 for sale near Chicago. It needs a seat cover, carbs cleaned battery and all the usual stuff. He's asking $850 not a bad price if you want to ride it. Not much room to make $$ on it though.

I rolled it into the heated shop and drained the carbs and crankcase. I started to make a fork brace from layered carbon strips and fiberglass. I'm undecided whether to finish it or get a front fender. I'm thinking carbon fiber sidecovers too, maybe do a carbon dip or paint on the tank.
Changing the oil and cleaning the carbs will give me time to get to know this one and decide which way to proceed.

So far i've only cleaned the tank and drained the carbs, pulled dents and worked over the dragbars. I ordered a Vance and Hines 4 into 1 drag pipe for it. If it doesn't fit, I'll put it on my K2 1124cc drag bike instead of the F2 header. I have a yoshi looking 4 into 1 on my K0, it doesn't fit the frame well. When it comes out of storage i'm going to check that pipe out too. In the meantime I'm going to try the V&H.
